We’ve partnered with to launch a customer feedback mini-site.

On the new feedback mini-site you can suggest ideas to change Picblaze. You can browse some of our current ideas and support them by voting. You can also add your own ideas and vote for them.

On our site you will from now on see in the bottom right corner of the screen an icon which loads the feedback widget. You can use it to take you straight to some ideas or suggest your own.

We’d love to hear your ideas and suggestions so let us know what you think!

For a few weeks now our new privacy system is up and running.

Before, you had a choice between making your albums public or hidden. Choosing an option for an album automatically applies the option to your images inside the album.

Well, now there are four options you can choose from instead  of only two:

There’s a new option on your settings page to save a global privacy setting. Your albums can be set to inherit this global privacy setting. With this global privacy setting you can easily change the privacy setting of all your albums in one go.

There’s the old public and hidden privacy settings. You can use the public one to force an album and its images inside the album to be always public. You can use the hidden privacy setting to force an album to be hidden from your portfolio page, hidden from search engines like Google, but still accessible by direct link.

The last option is the private option. With the private option, the album and images are hidden from the portfolio page, hidden from search engines just like the hidden option. However, there’s an extra layer of security: only you can view the album and images when you’re logged into your account.

The new options are available to you when creating a new album or using the new privacy button:

For paid account users we went a bit further and implemented a password system:

You can lock your albums with a password using the dialog shown above. For added security we added protection against brute force password guessing.

So, these are the latest updates here at, enjoy!
