New since a week or so are our new login capabilities:
From now of on you can register and login with your Facebook account, your twitter account or your Google plus account. Existing users can now also add one or more to their existing account and benefit from the easy login.
Once connected to your Picblaze account it only takes one click to login, provided you’re already logged in with your Facebook, Twitter or Google plus account.
Enjoy this upgrade, more coming soon!
A few days ago we enabled SSL for our site, images and for both free and paid users.
What is SSL? Secure Sockets Layer or SSL is standard security technology for encrypting the link between a server and a client. In our case between our web servers and your browser.

Our free SSL image hosting is unmatched by any other image hosting service, so enjoy your secure image browsing!
A week ago we enabled our content distribution network (CDN) here at Picblaze for both free users and paid users. After a week of testing everything has been running smooth enough to finally anounce it.
Our CDN uses the latest technology. It takes advantage of recent hardware changes, web server technology and network routing.
The hardware is built from the ground up, which means the hardware components have been selected down to the chip level. The proprietary software running the CDN processes millions of requests per second efficiently. The CDN has its own network, with edge nodes on the most strategic points of the Internet. This way your audience gets the fastest image load times and best performance.
Our CDN reduces hops and lowers latency. A request is on average fewer than 10 hops away and takes less than 30ms. The result is your images gain a global presence and all for free.
Here’s an overview of all our edge nodes:
